Theme Week | Foundation Stage

The Foundation Stage children had a wonderful theme week. Captain Wonder, a Superhero, had his pants stolen by his archenemy. During the week the children carried out lots of activities to help Captain Wonder; they washed pants, designed pants, had lots of fun reading different pant stories and made yummy Gingerbread heroes and iced pants onto them.

First school trip to Lydiard Park

The Foundation Stage children went on their first school trip to Lydiard Park. They had an amazing day exploring the park, looking at the different coloured leaves on the tress and finding lots of interesting objects. They also went on a story walk around the park with Lisa a park ranger.

She took them around to different places to tell them the stories of the Gingerbread Man, Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

The children were fantastic listeners and maybe they will be able to tell you these stories if you go on a walk around Lydiard Park with them!
